There will be recruitment of 6060 headmasters in secondary and higher secondary schools of Bihar.The Education Department sent its requisition to the General Administration Department on Tuesday.The General Administration Department is expected to send the requisition to Bihar Public Service Commission soon.After this the Commission will ask for applications from the candidates.Advertisement for the appointment of 6421 headmasters was issued through BPSC in 2022, out of which only 421 were selected.Of these only 369 had contributed.Actually, marks were fixed for different sections of the examination.12 thousand 547 candidate teachers who did not pass this mark were declared failed.Now requisition has been sent again for the remaining posts.

To become a headmaster, eight to 12 years of experience is necessary.
6060 headmasters will be reinstated in the secondary and higher secondary schools of the state.The Education Department has made it clear that continuous service of at least eight years for the post of secondary teacher and minimum four years for the post of higher secondary teacher under the Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body of the State Government will be mandatory.At the same time, for those teaching in private schools, it has been made mandatory to have 12 years of experience in secondary and ten years of experience in higher secondary.

What was asked last time? Educational Qualification
– Must have passed PG with at least 50 percent marks.SC-ST, EBC, BC, handicapped, women and economically weaker candidates have been given five percent relaxation in the marks related condition.That means he can apply for PG with 45 percent marks. 
– Candidate should have passed B.Ed/B.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. 
– Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in 2012 or later. 

What was the age limit asked for – Minimum age should be 31 years and maximum 47 years.Relaxation will be given in reserved category as per the provisions of the government.
