Irish actor Ray Stevenson (58), who won the audience’s attention for his role as Volstagg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has died. He is also known to Indian movie lovers for playing the role of Governor in SS Rajamouli‘s internationally acclaimed film RRR. Ray Stevenson’s PRO has confirmed his death. Ray Stevenson was born on 25 May 1964 in Lisburn. At the age of eight, he joined the Bristol Old Vic Theater School in England. After completing his college education at the age of 29, he began his acting career in films and television. He has been active in the field of acting since the beginning of the nineties.

The first movie that got the attention of the audience was The Theory of Flight which came out in 1998. The characters in Punisher: War Zone and Marvel’s Thor movies were also notable.
