Basil Joseph starrer Paalthu Janvar trailer is finally OUT

On Saturday, the makers of Paalthu Janvar, an upcoming Malayalam film featuring Basil Joseph in the lead role, unveiled the trailer on social media. Basil Joseph plays the lead in the film. The film, titled Certified U, will be released in theatres on September 2. It is directed by newcomer Sangeeth P Rajan and produced by Bhavana Studios’ Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran.

The trailer provides a taste of the film, which is set in a big panchayat with an animal in each family. Basil plays Prasoon, a new Livestock Inspector who the panchayat has been hoping for. The film appears to have a strong theme of domestic animals and a conflict that occurs in the setting.

In addition to Basil, Indrans, Johny Antony, Dileesh Pothan, Shammy Thilakan, Sruthy Suresh, Unnimaya Prasad, Jaya Kurup, Athira Harikumar, Thankam Mohan, Kiran Peethambaran, Siby Thomas, and Joji John appear in Paalthu Janvar. Vinoy Thomas and Aneesh Anjali wrote the song, Justin Varghese created the music, and Renadive shot the film. The film was edited by Kiran Das.

Regarding the technical aspects, Sameer Tahir handled the camera, and Ajayan Chalissery handled the art direction. Sameer Thahir did the cinematography, Randev did the DOP, and the editing department is handled by Kiran Das. The film, which will be released in theatres this Onam in September, is produced by Bhavana Studios’ Fahadh Fazil, Dileesh Pothan, and Shyam Pushkaran. The comedy-drama film is directed by debutante Sangeet P Rajan and written by Vinoy Thomas and Anish Anjali.
