Bappi Lahiri, who is well known for the use of disco-style music in the Indian entertainment world, has conveyed famous songs like ‘Chalte’, ‘Disco Dancer’ and ‘Sharaabi’, taking off his prevalence in the years 1980 and 1990s. The Malayalam movie ‘The Good Boys’ was released in the year 1997 and was directed by Sunil. Bappi Lahiri composed five melodies in the film which were sung by the famous artists’ KS Chithra, MG Sreekumar, Mano, and Biju Narayanan, and the lyrics were written by Gireesh Puthenchery.

The songs ‘Pakal Maayum Mukil Maanam’, ‘Aathire Neeyallatharundenne’, ‘Maarivillo Malarnilaavo’ and ‘Ven Praave’ from the movie ‘The Good Boys’ were composed by Bappi Lahiri. The content of the film ‘The Good Boys’ was written by Rafeeq Seelatt and Sunil. The cast rundown of the film included Jagathi Sreekumar, Janardanan, Sudheesh, Nadirsha, Kalabhavan Mani, Bindu Panikkar, Harisree Asokan, and Madhu.

The family informed that they are awaiting the arrival of Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa Lahiri from Los Angeles. The funeral of the late legend will take place in Mumbai on 17th Feb 2022. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind too have expressed grief over the demise of the legend.
