The news of Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi teaming up for a project had left Tollywood movie buffs excited a while ago. Now, the film has been officially launched with a ceremony which was attended by the actor-filmmaker duo and producers among others.
Tentatively titled NBK 108, its cast and crew details are expected to be announced shortly. K Raghavendra Rao, Dil Raju, and Allu Aravind were a few guests present at the event. The pics from the affair have been doing the rounds on social media.
Anil Ravipudi took to his Twitter page to share the happiness of directing a movie featuring Balakrishna in the lead. His tweet read, “Kick starting this surreal journey with Natasimham #NandamuriBalakrishna garu from today. Excited to present NBK LIKE NEVER BEFORE in #NBK108 (sic).” Fans of NBK are curious to know how what is in the store for them.
The film is being financed by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi through Shine Screens. Thaman has been enlisted to write the project’s musical score. After Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy, this will be the third consecutive movie the music director has worked on with Balakrishna.
Anil’s films with Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, and Ravi Teja among others were big hits at the box office. Now the fans and critics are looking forward to him repeating the feat with the Balakrishna-starrer.
Fans of NBK have great expectations for Veera Simha Reddy, which will be released on January 12. The action movie set in a rural backdrop will lock horns with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which will be released on January 13.
