Balakrishna enjoys Sankranti with Chandrababu Naidu

Nandamuri Balakrishna, a popular Tollywood actor, celebrated Sankranti with his family members in Naravaripalle village in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district. The actor, who is also a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, celebrated the festival in the village of his brother-in-law, former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The actor, popularly known as Balayya, surprised everyone by going for a morning walk in the village. He responded to his fans’ greetings while dressed in winter wear. He also took part in Bhogi near Chandrababu Naidu’s house. In an interview with the media, Balayya wished Telugu people all over the world a happy Sankranti.

He hoped that the festival would bring people a lot of joy and prosperity. The actor thanked the audience for helping to make Veera Simha Reddy a smash hit. “Whenever a good movie is made, Telugu audiences support it. Veera Simha Reddy also received their support,” he said. Balakrishna stated that Veera Simha Reddy, who was released three days ago, was not just a faction fight dropback but also has family sentiments. The actor thanked the entire film crew. He stated that he was fortunate to work with director Gopichand Malineni.

“He knows the audience’s pulse and made a movie that they like,” he said. Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu’s families attended the festival. Bhuvaneswari, the actor’s sister, is Chandrababu Naidu’s wife. Balakrishna, whose daughter Brahmini is also married to Naidu’s son N. Lokesh, is a Telugu Desam Party legislator (TDP). He represents the Hindupur constituency in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
