The long-deferred film ‘Ayngaran’, which is a forthcoming social show featuring singer turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar and Mahima Nambiar in lead roles, is at last set to hit the screens after various delays. The movie is written and directed by Ravi Arasu of ‘Eeti’ notoriety will release on May 5, 2022.
The film is Common Man Production house, the film has Kaali Venkat and Arul Dass in supporting roles. The has been cleared by the Censor Board with a perfect ‘U’ certificate. The movie, which went on floors in 2017, is Ravi’s second directorial after Eetti featuring Atharvaa.

Curiously, GV Prakash will be composing music for the film while, the cinematography and editing are dealt with by Saravanan Abimanyu and Raja Mohammed, separately. The trailer of the film revealed that GV Prakash plays a serious character of a common man who questions the social evils present in our society.
Ayngaran has GV Prakash paired with Mahima Nambiar, who is known for her roles in films like Kuttram 23, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal, Magamuni and was seen more recently in Oh My Dog starring Arun Vijay and his son Arnav Vijay. The film also has a talented supporting cast featuring the likes of Kaali Venkat, Arul Dass, Aadukalam Naren, Hareesh Peradi, Abishek, Irene, Siddharth among others.
GV Prakash is also awaiting the release of Adangathey, including Idimuzhakkam under Seenu Ramasamy’s direction. He is at present attached to films like 4G, Kadhalikka Yaarumillai, Kadhalai Thedi Nithyananda, Aayiram Jenmangal to name a a few from the independent English-language venture titled Trap City
