Kareena Kapoor has made her stance clear in the heated Nepotism debate in Bollywood after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. ‘It’s not just about nepotism, it’s my 21-year film career. I too have struggled a lot to survive in the industry. It’s just that it probably doesn’t look like someone boarding a train with just ten bucks in their pocket. I have nothing to do with it.
The audience created us. No one else. They are going to see a movie. Don’t go. No one is forcing you to go to the theater. I do not understand. After watching all these movies, I do not understand the logic of coming up with such allegations.
Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ayushman Khurana are all outsiders. They are hard-working and successful actors. Be it Alia Bhatt or me, we are suffering too. Audiences are watching our movies, says Kareena.
Kareena has been criticized in the past as an actress who was lucky enough to experience the benefits of the film industry. Kareena made the remarks during a conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt.
