Much before on-screen character Aamir Khan assumed the Hindi redo of Forrest Gump, veteran entertainer Anil Kapoor says he had tested out the plan to late movie producer Kundan Shah.
Coordinated by Robert Zemeckis, the 1994 different Academy Award winning film, featured Tom Hanks in the title job. It will be changed for the Indian crowd as Laal Singh Chaddha with Khan in the number one spot.
Nonetheless, Kapoor said he was once joined to star in the film which was at last canned.
“It was not pitched by Kundan, I had pitched it to him. I needed to do the film. Before the film could discharge in India, somebody had enlightened me concerning it. I at that point told Kundan, ‘How about we make this film’,” Kapoor told PTI.
Shah, most popular for 1983 religion great Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, had composed the content for the adjustment yet something didn’t click with Kapoor.

Kapoor will be next observed in Mohit Suri’s Malang, alongside Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on February 7.
