For the past few years, Asif Ali has been rediscovering himself in a variety of roles. He is regarded as one of the most adaptable actors in modern Malayalam films. Recently, Asif Ali was spotted in the Mammootty-starring movie Rorschach, in which he had a unique role. For his upcoming film Kooman, the great actor is now ready to work with hitmaker Jeethu Joseph, best known for the hugely successful “Drishyam” trilogy. On Wednesday, October 12, Kooman’s first look poster was published on social media.
Asif Ali, the film’s star, is seen in the incredibly enticing first-look poster for Kooman: The Night Rider. In the first-look poster, which is currently taking the internet by storm, the actor is shown with an intense expression and a tinge of terror on his face in the rain. The movie’s poster makes it clear that Jeethu Joseph, a director best renowned for his experience creating thrillers, is returning with another entry in the adored genre. However, the first-look poster doesn’t offer much about the movie or its idea.

The Drishyam director, who is one of the most celebrated filmmakers of contemporary Malayalam cinema, is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film, Ram. The film, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role, is hailed as a realistic action movie. Ram, which was supposed to begin rolling in 2020, was repeatedly postponed because of the pandemic and numerous lockdowns. Ram was long put on the back burner before Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph teamed up for Drishyam 2 and 12th Man.
Asif Ali and Jeethu collaborated on Kooman, which was entirely filmed in Kerala. The two-part movie will, however, finally be finished by the filmmaker with the UK schedule. If the rumors are to be believed, Jeethu Joseph will soon wind up Ram and begin production on the third and last film in the Drishyam franchise starring Mohanlal.
One of the busiest actors in the Malayalam cinema business, the Kooman actor has an interesting slate of upcoming films. He is currently preoccupied with the Kasaragod filming, which is his second project with B.Tech director Mridul Nair.
