Tollywood sensation Naga Chaitanya, who made his Bollywood debut in the most recent film from Aamir Khan, Laal Singh Chaddha, is currently working on his upcoming movie, which has a working title of NC22. The bilingual movie, which will be distributed in both Tamil and Telugu, has been the subject of numerous rumors ever since it was announced. Naga Chaitanya fans are in a frenzy as a result of the producers of NC22 finally releasing a movie update.
The film’s cast was unveiled on Friday, October 14 with the release of character posters on Twitter. Arvind Swamy, a Kollywood superstar, has also been brought on board to play a significant role in the eagerly anticipated movie, which is billed as a cop action drama. Srinivasaa Silver Screen posted the actor’s 52-year-old poster along with the statement, “We are Highly Elated to Welcome On board the Sensational Performer @thearvindSwamy for our #NC22.”
The NC22 cast also includes Priyamani, Vennela Kishore, Sarath Kumar, Premgi Amaren, Premi Vishwanath, and Sampath Raj in addition to Arvind Swamy. The production company additionally tweeted a composite of each actor’s individual poster. The tweet stated, “The Ensemble Cast of #NC22 to Enthrall.”
Venkat Prabhu, a Tamil filmmaker, will make his Telugu feature-directing debut with NC22. The police drama is reportedly now being filmed in Mysore. The movie will apparently also be shot in Hyderabad, Chennai, and other locations in Kerala. Together with his son Yuvaan Shankar Raja, Ilaiyaraaja composed the music for this bilingual movie. The release date for NC22 is anticipated to be in April 2023. Its release date has not yet been disclosed, though.
