Actor Kushal Punjabi committed suicide by hanging himself in his Bandra house on Thursday. He was 37 years old. Kushal was a well-known face not only in television but also in the Bollywood world. Apart from TV shows and reality shows, he has also worked in many films. He outperformed his performance in several films including Kaal and Lakshya.
The film Lakshya was directed by Farhan Akhtar. On hearing the news of Kushal’s death, Farhan has sent an emotional tweet. In this, Farhan wrote, ‘I am shocked and sad to hear about the suicide of skilled Punjabi. Laksh has many memories of working with him. We salute their fighting spirit. You will be missed dear brother My condolences to his family. ‘

Significantly, in the film Lakshya, Kushal was playing the role of Preity Zinda’s fiance. The Bandra police have received a suicide note from his house. Kushal wrote a one and a half page suicide note before he died. In this, he wrote, ‘There is no one responsible for my suicide. 50 percent of my assets should be distributed equally between my parents and sister, the remaining portion should be given to a three-year-old son.
DCP Paramjit Singh said, ‘We received a suicide note in which he wrote that no one should be held responsible for this. We are investigating. We have filed a suicide case. Officials investigating the case say Kushal did not pick up anyone’s call on Thursday. His parents were calling him from 2 pm on Thursday afternoon but he was not giving any answer. Then they thought of coming to his house.
