Anjali, best known for her roles in Angaadi Theru and Engaeyum Eppothum, has been cast in the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Iratta’. ‘Iratta,’ directed by debutant Rohit MG Krishnan, is billed as a thriller. Anjali has been cast as Malini in ‘Iratta,’ and the makers have released a character poster. Anjali appears in the poster dressed in a saree as a village belle.

Anjali is not new to Malayalam Movies. She has previously worked in ‘Payyans’, and ‘Rosapoo’.
In ‘Iratta,’ Joju George will play dual characters. The first look poster, which featured Joju George as identical twins, was recently released by the producers. Joju George is shown in the poster sitting on a chair wearing a blue shirt and dhoti, while his second avatar is dressed as a police officer.
Meanwhile, Anjali’s film ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali, and Samantha played the lead roles in the Telugu film. Anjali celebrated the milestone, shared pictures from the film on social media, and said, “10 years of #svsc a film that touched many many hearts and a major milestone in my career. Seetha, the most special role that still lives on in your hearts ❤️.”
It was previously reported that Joju George’s ‘Iratta’ would hit theatres in February, and according to new information, the film will open on the second day of the month. Apart from Joju George and Anjali, Sindra, Arya Salim, Sreekanth Murali, Abhiram, and Sabumon will be seen in significant roles.
