Mysskin is one of Tamil cinema’s most notable directors, and the films he has directed have left an indelible impression on the genre. The excellent director’s next project is ‘Pisasu 2,’ which fans have been anticipating with bated breath. However, Mysskin’s current behavior has landed him in hot water because the director omitted Andrea Jeremiah’s nude scene from the final copy of ‘Pisasu 2’ in order for the film to be enjoyed by a family audience. However, the director’s decision to delete the sequence after recording it landed him in the crosshairs of social media haters, and netizens began generating memes in response.
Mysskin has now responded to trolls and explained the significance of Andrea Jeremiah’s naked part in the film. Mysskin claimed that he merely took naked images of Andrea Jeremiah for ‘Pisasu 2’ and did not film any footage of the actress. The photos were taken by a mutual acquaintance of the director and the actress, and Mysskin hasn’t even seen Andrea Jeremiah’s photos. When he decided not to include those images in the film, he requested the photographer to erase them.
‘Pisasu 2’ was supposed to be released on August 31st, but the filmmakers are apparently seeking to postpone the release while they reappear for censor. Andrea Jeremiah plays the lead in the horror drama, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Santhosh Prathap, Poorna, and Rajkumar Pitchumani. Pisasu 2 is primarily shot in Tamil, but will be dubbed and released in three languages, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Pisasu 2 is bankrolled by T Muruganantham, under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment.
