It was agreed in the executive meeting of ‘Amma’ that actor Srinath Bhasi should not be given membership for the time being. The producer’s ban against Sreenath remains in place with the action of ‘Amma’. Sreenath’s membership application will be considered after resolving the issue with the producers. The meeting also decided to proceed with further discussions to resolve the issues with actor Shane Nigam and the producers. Meanwhile, seven people, including actress Nikhila Vimal, have been given new membership in ‘Amma’.
In April, actors Srinath Bhasi and Shane Nigam were banned from the film. The film organizations had informed that they will not cooperate with the films of both of them. The decision was taken at a meeting in which star organization ‘Amma’ was also involved. The film houses alleged that the behavior of both of them was intolerable on the sets. Srinath Bhasi does not try to get to the exact locations. Shane Nigam also follows the same complaint. The highest complaint was that this is causing difficulties to colleagues including the producers.
