‘Gold’ marks Alphonse Puthren’s first joint effort with Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film will likewise stamp Prithviraj’s first full-length film with hotshot Nayanthara. The couple has recently shared the screen for a tune succession in the 2008 blockbuster film ‘Twenty:20’. Prithviraj Sukumaran has wrapped up the shoot of his second executive ‘Brother Daddy’ in Telangana several days prior and the star is relied upon to join the arrangements of ‘Gold’ soon.

In the meantime, Alphonse Puthren had prior reported ‘Paattu’, a film highlighting Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara in lead jobs.“My next feature film is titled Paattu (song). Fahadh Faasil is the hero of the film. This time I will be doing music too. It will be in the Malayalam language. Will update rest of the crew and cast members while the film progresses,” he said while declaring ‘Paattu’, notwithstanding, the film is deferred for the time being as Alphonse has started work on ‘Gold’.

Then again, Nayanthara’s new trip in Malayalam was ‘Nizhal’, wherein she attempted the lead job close by Kunchacko Boban. Nayanthara marking consecutive Malayalam motion pictures has cheered her fans in Kerala. As the diva is a Keralite and started her excursion in the film with Malayalam motion pictures, her relationship with a Malayalam film consistently stands out as truly newsworthy.
