Executive Pradeep Sarkar is preparing a biopic on mistress turned-theater entertainer Binodini Dasi, prevalently known as Notee Binodini. According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has consented to star in the undertaking. The film’s screenplay is being created by researcher Shibashish Bandhopadhay.
Binodini Dasi was naturally introduced to prostitution in nineteenth century Bengal. She played out her first theater job at 12 years old at Calcutta’s National Theater. She rose to notoriety under the mentorship of Girish Chandra Ghose, a main figure in the brilliant time of Bengali theater.
