AFCAT 1 2024 Notification:Indian Air Force (IAF) is going to release the official notification for AFCAT 2024 (Air Force Common Admission Test) soon on the official website afcat.cdac.in.
Let us tell you, a total of 317 vacancies will be filled for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) and Flying branch.Let us tell you, applications will also be invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for Flying Branch).
Online applications for appearing in Air Force Common Admission Test i.e. AFCAT examination is expected to start from 01 December.The last date to apply may be 30th December 2023.Let us tell you that the date of examination will be announced in the official notification.This course will start in January 2025.
Educational qualification
Flying Branch –Candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% marks from any recognized institute.Let us tell you, it is necessary to have the subjects of Maths and Physics in 12th.Along with this, one must have BE/BTech degree in any subject with at least 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
Must have passed class 12th with 50% marks from any recognized institute with Maths and Physics subjects and four year degree/integrated post graduation in Engineering.
Ground Duty (Non Technical)
Administration – Must have passed class 12th and graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks.
Education – Must have passed class 12th and post graduation with at least 50% marks and graduation with 60% marks.

Selection Process
There will be online AFCAT exam.Ground Duty (Technical) branch candidates will also have to appear in the Engineering Knowledge Test.Final merit will be determined on the basis of performance in both AFCAT and AFSB examinations.
exam time
AFCAT Exam: 100 questions will be asked in 2 hours 45 minutes test which will be from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Military Aptitude.The paper will be of 300 marks.

Step 1- First of all visit the official website afcat.cdac.in.will go on.
Step 2- Click on “IAF AFCAT 2024” link shown on the home page.
Step 3- Now the application form will be in front of you.Start filling the information asked.
Step 4- Scan in the correct size and start submitting the required documents.
Step 5- Now pay the application fee and click on submit link.
Step 6- If you want, you can take a printout for future.
