The US has appealed citizens to reconsider their visit to Pakistan. The Foreign Ministry also issued a travel advisory on Friday last week. It said that American citizens visiting Pakistan should re-think about their visit to Pakistan, as the government would not be able to provide emergency services amid the prevailing terrorism and dangerous conditions there. Apart from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), the US also issued a high alert on going to LoC. It is believed that most of Pakistan’s terrorist organizations operate from these places.
The advisory states- “There are major threats in many places in Pakistan. Do not visit these places because of incidents of terrorism and extinction in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Especially on the India-Pakistan border from where many terrorist organizations operate. ”The Ministry of External Affairs, citing the hundreds of killings in terrorist incidents, said that such attacks continue continuously throughout Pakistan.
