Aparna Balamurali cuts cake on the sets of “Ini Utharam”

On Friday, July 22nd, the 68th National Film Awards were revealed in New Delhi, and actress Aparna Balamurali won the Best Actress prize for her work in the Tamil film “Soorarai Pottru.” When the Oscars were revealed, Aparna Balamurali was on the Pollachi set of her upcoming Malayalam movie, “Ini Utharam,” and she celebrated her significant victory with them. Aparna Balamurali shared a cake with her “Ini Utharam” co-stars as they celebrated the major win.

Aparna Balamurali told the news channel that “I was worried if your trip will be wasted. Anyway, it did not happen and I am just overwhelmed by this huge award. I owe this award to the director of the film, Sudha who was strongly behind me and supported me at every moment. This film was released during the Covid period and we all really missed a proper theatre release. But now with this, I feel really excited and elated and just cannot express my emotions and feelings,”Aparna-Balamurli1

In the movie, directed by Sudha Kongara, Aparna Balamurali played Bommi and romanced Suriya. This year’s Best Feature Film, Suriya’s Best Actor, Aparna Balamurali’s Best Actress, Shalini Usha Nair, and Sudha Kongara’s Best Screenplay, and Music Director-Background Score awards went to the movie (G V Prakash Kumar).
