Actor and theater worker Vikraman Nair (77) passed away. He died in a private hospital in Kozhikode. Vikraman Nair has worked in several plays with leading theater actors Thikotian and KT Muhammad. Vikraman Nair won the State Award for Best Actor for his performance in Thikodiyan’s Mahabharata. Vikraman Nair has acted in around 200 plays including 53 professional plays in various venues. Marakar has also acted in films like Arabikadalin Simham, Virus, and Paleri Manikyam.
Worked in Sangamam and Stage India drama troupes. He was active in drama during his school days. He completed his degree studies at Samothiri Guruvayoorappan College, Kozhikode. He formed his own theater troupe called Stage India. His wife is Lakshmi. Durga and Saraswati are the children.
