Newcomer Basil George dies in a road accident The accident occurred at Mecadambe near Muvattupuzha. Basil George is making his debut in Malayalam cinema with Poovalliyum Kunjadum. The accident happened at around 9pm on Sunday. Ashwin and Nitin, who were in the car along with Basil, were killed in the accident. Latheesh and Sagar were injured and are under treatment.
The car which was on its way from Kolancherry to Muvattupuzha area, got out of control and hit a power post and then crashed into a nearby house and a nearby building. It was a building where guest workers lived. Guest workers Ramon Kesh, Amar and Jaydeep were also injured in the accident. They have been admitted to Kolenchery Medical College. Basil George, 30, is the son of the late George and CG.
