The theater owners’ association has stated that it will no longer co-operate with films released by OTT. However, Anto Joseph’s new release of the film ‘Kilometers and Kilometers’ was the only directive issued by the organization stating that it had no objection to the film going for a direct OT release. But young director Aashiq Abu has come out against this. Aashiq shared his protest on Facebook shortly after the order was issued.

The movie Kilometers and Kilometers, produced by Andro Joseph and starring Tovino Thomas, will soon be released via a digital platform. The release of the film was sanctioned by the organization after the producer suffered huge financial losses. But FEUOK said the decision would not apply to any other film. The film is set to release on Hotstar on the 20th of this month.
