Aamir Khan writes letters to Amitabh's daughter

Shweta, daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, comes from a strong film background family, but she herself has been a fan of actors like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. She once spoke on the Coffee with Karan show with her brother Abhishek Bachchan about how she was a fan of actors like Aamir Khan and Salman Khan at a young age. Even in 1989, when the Maine Pyar Kiya movie was released, Shweta was studying in a boarding school in class 10th. Shweta had seen the film on VCR and since then she had bought the ‘Friend’ cap from Abhishek, which was bought by Salman.

Shweta had said, ‘We were not allowed to watch movies at school during that time. So I kept a tape recorder. I used to record the entire film in it and then listen to it later. I loved Salman Khan a lot and that cap too. Abhishek Bachchan had told that he had taken the cap from Mumbai to London for Shweta and many of his cousins. I used to sleep by putting that cap under my pillow. Similarly, Shweta has also been a big fan of actor Aamir Khan. Abhishek told that when Aamir Khan came to know about this, he was very happy.

Not only this, he used to write letters to Shweta Tripathi on her birthday every year. Shweta had said that one of the reasons for this was that Aamir Khan and my birthday fall around. Aamir’s birthday is on 14 March, while Shweta’s birthday is on 17 March. Not only this, Abhishek Bachchan said that when he lived in Boston for higher studies, Shweta had once hired a limousine and drove herself for about one and a half hours. We both came to see the live performance of Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan.

Shweta Bachchan Nanda may not have worked in films, but she definitely has experience. She has acted in many commercials with father Amitabh Bachchan. Shweta Bachchan manages the fashion brand MXS. She is also a writer. In 2018, he started his writing career with his novel Paradise Towers.
