Aamir and Kiran got married in 2005 and in July last year, they had given an official announcement of separation. The two have finished their 15 years of marriage and are currently co-parents to son Azad. Aamir and Kiran’s statement had perused, “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other. We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalize this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and raise together.”
Amir and Kiran are working together for the film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. As of now, Aamir Khan is occupied with his film Laal Singh Chaddha, which will release on April 14, 2022. Aamir will be seen inverse Kareena Kapoor in the film.
