Aakasha Ganga 2 is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language frightfulness spine chiller movie composed and coordinated by Vinayan. It is a spin-off of his 1999 film Aakasha Ganga. The film stars Ramya Krishnan, Siddique, Vishnu Vinay and Sreenath Bhasi ahead of the pack roles.The films soundtrack and score by Bijibal and cinematographer by Prakash Kutty. The film was delivered by Vinayan under the pennant of Akash Films.It was shot in ottapaalam, Kochi and Pondicherry.

Vinayan reported Aakasha Ganga 2 on his Facebook page on 04 March 2019.Vinayan himself propelled the title blurb. On 04 March 2019, The Times of India had revealed that Vinayan discloses about Aakasha Ganga spin-off. Film created by Vinayan under the flag of Aakash Films.
The Filming began in Palakkad on April 24, 2019. Cinematographer Prakash Kutty, music arrangers Bijibal, Lyricist Hari Narayanan and Rameshan Nair joined the group at first. Ramya Krishnan was affirmed focal character for the film. Other essential shooting areas were Kannur and Palani, Tamil Nadu.
Bijibal created the film’s music and berny ignatius revamp tune “puthumazhayayi vannu ne” from initial segment. The verses were composed by Harinarayanan and Rameshan Nair.
