In India, Meta Company has removed 33 million ‘bad content’ from Facebook and Instagram. Companies including Meta are releasing such reports every month as requested by the IT Ministry.
According to a note issued by the leading social media, Twitter banned 25,51,623 accounts in India last month. Many of these have been banned for publishing content that sexually exploits children and for publishing nude images of individuals without their consent.
