Tata Ultras cars have long been released in the local market. Tata Motors is set to release the product spec model for these cars in India in the first week of December. It is expected to make its debut in early 2020. These premium hatchback cars will be based on the ALFA platform. It is expected to be available with petrol and diesel engines.
Tata Motors had earlier planned to launch these premium hatchback cars in India in August. However, Tata has postponed the launch of the car. Despite this, the car wanted to make the car the PS6. Tata Motors is expected to launch in India by early 2020.
Ultras cars were spotted earlier this month during the TVC shuts in Europe. These are the first SUVs on the ALFA platform, like the mini SUVs, and the Tata H2X Concept. The ultras are the widest car and will be featured in the premium hatchback segment. However, this is the case with lower-end wheelbases. These cars will be capable of 341 liters of boot space.
Available with Tata Ultras, Petrol and Diesel Engine. These will be 84 bhp, 1.2-liter petrol motors. These motors are derived from Diego models. Similarly, the 102 bhp, 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine is derived from Nexon models. The diesel variants are 90 bhp, 1.5 liters with four-cylinder oil burners. Initially, these cars were only available in manual transmissions. Automatic gearboxes seem to be out in the future.
When the new Ultras car debuted, it was priced at Rs. It looks like it could be set at a starting price of Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
